Translation & reprint news! My story “Seven Kinds of Baked Goods” is now available in Japanese in Night Land Quarterly!

Very exciting news today, and something I’ve been keeping under wraps for a while. My story “Seven Kinds of Baked Goods” has been translated into Japanese and is now available in Night Land Quarterly. This is the first time a story of mine has been translated into Japanese, and it’s part of an issue that includes:

  • Robert Aspirin: Introduction (to Thieves’ World)
  • Rob Boyle & Davidson Cole: MELT
  • Maria Haskins: Seven Kinds of Baked Goods
  • Angela Rega: Byssus
  • Jorge Luis Borges: Franz Kafka
  • Manly Wade Wellman: The Shonokins
  • William Meikle: The Longdock Air
  • Peter M Ball: A White Cross Beside a Lonely Road

Huge thanks to the team at Night Land Quarterly for this! The publication does not have an English language website, but the issue is available online:

“Seven Kinds of Baked Goods” was first published in the anthology Just Desserts, available from Amazon & Smashwords. It has also been reprinted in Luna Station Quarterly – read it / buy the issue / buy it in print / subscribe & support LSQ. It’s also available in The Overcast #83, narrated by J.S. Arquin: listen / support on Patreon.
