I’m pretty much speechless today, seeing that my story “It’s Easy to Shoot a Dog” from Beneath Ceaseless Skies is on the Locus Recommended Reading List. There are so many fantastic stories and books on this list, and it feels completely unreal to be included in this company.
Huge thanks to editor Scott H. Andrews for believing in this story and for his thoughtful and thorough edits.
This year, I was also one of the editors and reviewers asked to help recommend short stories for the recommended reading list (I did not recommend my own, btw…), and I am very grateful for that opportunity. There are so many wonderful writers and stories in the SFF genre, and I feel very privileged and a bit overwhelmed right now.
So, dive into that list, and read, read, read.
And if you want to read my own Recommended Reading List, it is right here on the blog:
Congratulations! Woo hoo! 🙂
