Phobos Issue Four: Deep Black Sea is available in print – with my story ‘Bioluminescence’

It’s been a bit of a wait for this one, but now it is here and it looks absolutely wonderful: Phobos Issue Four: Deep Black Sea. My story ‘Bioluminescence’ is in this magazine, and I am just thrilled to share it with everyone.

The TOC looks fantastic, and the cover is gorgeous: artwork by Abigail Larson.

I submitted my story for this issue last year, and was so happy when it was accepted. ‘Bioluminescence’ is a science fiction / weird / horror story, about a mother and a son, and the deep dark sea. Though it’s not spelled out in so many words, the story is set on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in the not very distant future.
