December / January recap: reviews, stories sold, interviews & more

A lot has happened in the last couple of months. And I’m not even talking about the big world out there, but the little world of My Writerly Things. Here’s my personal highlight reel for December and January:

I sold a story to Shimmer. I also sold a story to Flash Fiction Online. AND I sold a third story to See The Elephant Magazine (from Metaphysical Circus Press). Still kind of dizzy from all that, but it’s a great kind of dizzy! All three stories will be released into the wild later this year!

In December, I published a collection of eight flash fiction stories originally written for The Word Count Podcast. The collection is called ‘Dark Flash‘, and it was recently featured at Horror-Movies.ca: Top 5 Creepy Books for Women in Horror Month (!).

I was interviewed:

Odin’s Eye‘, my collection of science fiction short stories, was reviewed at bookscover2cover. It’s a wonderful, in-depth review, and I am so grateful for the kind words! Read the review.

I wrote a story for R.B. Wood’s Word Count Podcast: The Weight of the Sea. Read it. / Listen.

I published two poems right here on the website: This Is The Truth, and Never (Always)

In December, I wrote my first ever Award Eligibility Post with stories published in 2016.
