Two poems, two heartbeats

I’ve been playing around with my poems, trying to present them visually online and this is my first attempt. The poems are ‘Sparrow’ and ‘Peek’ from my new book.

‘Sparrow’ is inspired by and dedicated to my daughter, and ‘Peek’ is inspired by and dedicated to my son. These two human beings are really the deepest inspiration for ‘Cuts’ – the new collection of poetry that is included in ‘Cuts & Collected Poems’. Their arrival in the world changed me and changed my life in an infinite number of ways, and for that I am eternally grateful (even on the days when they drive me batty!).
